Fugitive Wanted In Fatal Porch Shooting Captured: Mercer County Prosecutor
Chelsey White, 38, of Trenton, is charged with first-degree murder of Shawn Moore, 45, of Trenton.

TRENTON, NJ — A Trenton man wanted for fatally shooting a man on a porch was captured on Sunday night, announced Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri on Tuesday.
Chelsey White, 38, of Trenton, was arrested Sunday evening in Branchburg, by the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
White is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree certain persons not to possess a weapon.

The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to detain him pending trial.
A report of a shooting in progress at 428 Ardmore Ave. was reported shortly before 8 p.m. on Feb. 28, to Trenton Police.

Officers located an unresponsive man on the porch suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim, later identified as Shawn Moore, 45, of Trenton, was pronounced dead at the scene, said Onofri.
