Grant Applications Available For Princeton Nonprofits
Grants are given to programs that focus on these areas: education, leadership, economic opportunity and development and self sufficiency.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Community Development Fund in partnership with the Princeton Area Community Foundation and the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation is now accepting 2018 grant applications.
Applications are open to 501c-3 nonprofit organization headquartered in the Princeton/Mercer Region only. They are available in amounts between $5,000 and $10,000. Applications must be submitted by the end of the business day on Sept. 14.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Princeton Regional Chamber’s 2018 Community Development Fund Grant application,” Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Chairman John Goedecke said. “Our Community Development Fund has been providing grants to nonprofit organizations in our region for five years and to date, we have awarded over $176,000 in development grants to over 22 nonprofit organizations.”

The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce established the Community Development Fund in partnership with the Princeton Area Community Foundation in 2013 with a $500,000 gift from the Chamber Foundation.
Grants are given to the most promising programs that address one or more of the Fund’s focus areas: education, leadership, economic opportunity and development, and self-sufficiency.

“The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce is the only Chamber in the region to partner and create a program to support not-for-profit organizations with direct grants,” Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Peter Crowley said. “More than 12% of our members are not-for-profit organizations, and we continue to support them in a direct way. We believe that a vibrant nonprofit community is key to a healthy regional economy.”
