Grocery Outlet To Open First NJ Store In Mercer County
The California-based supermarket chain will open its first store in Hamilton Township, occupying the space of a former Kmart.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A California-based discount supermarket chain is looking to expand in New Jersey and will be opening its first store in Mercer County.
Grocery Outlet will open its new store in Hamilton Township at 1061 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Jack Reilly, Grocery Outlet’s Director of Real Estate told Patch. The store will occupy the space of a former Kmart at Hamilton Plaza.
The total floor area of the new store is 20,644 square feet and the sales floor area is 14,265 square feet, Reilly said. The store is expected to open in the Fall.

Grocery Outlet has over 300 stores across the country and offers deals on brand-name groceries.
