UPDATED: Group Organized by High School Seniors to Discuss Teacher Negotiations at Princeton BOE Meeting

Princeton High School seniors Elena Wu-Yan, Nora Schultz and Severine Stier organized a group to speak about the ongoing teacher negotiations at the Princeton School Board of Education meeting at the John Witherspoon Middle School Tuesday night.

The Board of Education and the Teachers’ Union have been negotiating since April, and the teachers have been working without a contract since the beginning of the year.

Recently, union members decided they would stop volunteering their personal time for school-related activities, as they are making less money than they did last year and volunteering their time is an action designed to save the district money.
