The Halal Guys Announce Opening Date For Lawrenceville Location
To celebrate its grand opening on Sept. 10, the restaurant is giving away some cool swag to the first guests in line.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Residents of Lawrenceville and most of Mercer County have been waiting eagerly for The Halal Guys to finally open a new location in Lawrenceville. Well, it looks like we have a date at long last.
The New York Street food icons announced Wednesday that the grand opening of the Lawrenceville location will take place on Friday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. The new restaurant will open at 3371 US 1 43B between Chipotle and Bonefish Grill.
On the day of the grand opening, food will be served all day based on availability. Patrons can reserve a spot on the restaurant's Facebook event page by clicking on "Going" and arrive early.

To thank patrons for their support, the restaurant will also be giving away some cool swag to the first guests in line.
The Halal Guys first opened in 1990 at the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue, in New York. The three Egyptian owners first started a hot dog cart but soon pivoted to selling halal food for Muslim taxi drivers in Manhattan.

That's where the famous platters of chicken and gyro over rice, falafel sandwiches, and the white and red sauces were born. At the Lawrenceville restaurant, patrons can enjoy an expanded menu including vegetarian options.
