Here Are The Latest COVID-19 Numbers From Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer County and New Jersey have seen an uptick in coronavirus cases. But what does that mean for the county?

As of Friday, there have been 34,006 coronavirus cases and 931 coronavirus-related deaths in the County since the pandemic began last year. This week, 60 new confirmed cases were reported with 20 new probable cases

Officials continue to monitor the delta variant, which accounted for more than 96 percent of coronavirus cases in New Jersey over the last four weeks, according to data provided by the state department of health.

Mercer County has "moderate" COVID activity, according to New Jersey's latest COVID-19 activity report (week of Sept. 4). The determination is based on metrics such as case rate, positivity rate, and prevalence of COVID-like illnesses.

Meanwhile, the County is stepping up efforts to vaccinate residents by hosting various pop-up clinics. Here are the dates of the upcoming clinics.

• Monday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Millyard Park, 635 S. Clinton Ave. (next to Roebling Market), Trenton.
• Friday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Trenton Farmers Market, 960 Spruce St., Lawrence.
• Monday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Millyard Park, 635 S. Clinton Ave. (next to Roebling Market), Trenton.
• Friday, Sept. 24 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Trenton Farmers Market, 960 Spruce St., Lawrence.
• Monday, Sept. 27, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Millyard Park, 635 S. Clinton Ave. (next to Roebling Market), Trenton.
• Friday, Oct. 1, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Trenton Farmers Market, 960 Spruce St., Lawrence.

The J&J, Moderna, and Pfizer vaccines will be administered at the clinics.
