Homeless Man Charged in Princeton TD Bank Robbery
Wesley A. Gugliuzza was charged with robbery, terroristic threats and tampering with evidence.

A confidential tip has led to the capture of a 28-year-old homeless man in connection with the robbery of a TD Bank in Princeton, police announced Wednesday afternoon.
Wesley A. Gugliuzza was charged with one count of first-degree robbery, one count of third-degree terroristic threats and one count of fourth-degree tampering with evidence.
Princeton Police worked in concert with Old Bridge Police detectives in the capture of Guglizza at an undisclosed location in Old Bridge.

Surveillance images of Gugliuzza inside TD Bank broadcasted by televised news agencies played an important role in identifying and locating him, police said.
Gugliuzza allegedly walked into the bank located at 883 State Road alone around 11:35 a.m. on Monday, approached the bank teller and passed a note saying he was armed and demanding cash.

The teller handed Gugliuzza an envelope with money in it. Gugliuzza allegedly left on foot.
No one was injured in the incident.
Gugliuzza is currently incarcerated at the Middlesex County Correctional Center in New Brunswick.
Bail is set at $300,000.
