Jersey Shore Favorite Surf Taco Opening New Location In Princeton

The owners are in the process of transforming the current space into a Surf Taco restaurant, and are expecting to open this fall.

PRINCETON, NJ — It won’t be much longer before Princeton residents can get their hands on a fish burrito or a taco at a Jersey Shore restaurant. At the end of August, the owners of Surf Taco announced the Princeton location would open in the Princeton Shopping Center at 301 North Harrison Street this fall.
“We are in the process of turning the space into a Surf Taco,” they said in a message to Princeton Patch Thursday morning. "We’ll have more specific details in a few weeks.”

Surf Taco is known for their fish burritos and tacos, along with their four types of homemade salsa. It also has plenty of chicken or vegetarian options. The first location opened in Point Pleasant Beach in 2001, and now has nine locations, primarily along the Jersey Shore. There is also a location at Rutgers University and in Hoboken.
