Jill Sobule To Perform Benefit Concert In Princeton Saturday
Proceeds from the concert will go towards helping the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice create a new community activist center.
PRINCETON, NJ – The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice will be hosting a benefit concert on Saturday, featuring musician-in-residence Jill Sobule.
Sobule is a recording artist best known for the 1995 single “I Kissed A Girl” and “Supermodel” that was featured in the movie “Clueless.” She has performed with Neil Young, Susanna Hoffs, Dar Williams, Cyndi Lauper, Tom Morello, among others, and has appeared on television and in movies.
Her latest project, “F*ck 7th Grade”, was a finalist for the Lambda Literary awards in LGBTQIA Drama category.

Tickets are priced at $25 and the concert will be held at Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice 12 Stockton Street, Princeton, 7 p.m. onwards.
