PRINCETON, N.J., June 25, 2013 – Gloria Nilson & Co. Real Estate today announces John J. Rooney has joined the Princeton office as a Sales Agent. Rooney brings with him over 40 years of Sales, Marketing and Training management experience with Fortune 100 Global Corporations.

John graduated with a B.A. Degree in Sociology from Long Island University, C. W. Post Campus. John and his spouse Clare moved from Long Island and have lived in Montgomery Township since 1980. They have two children, John J. Rooney Jr. and Suzanne Rooney-Trautwein, both of whom attended and graduated from the Montgomery Township School system. Today, they are both teachers in Montgomery at Orchard Hill Elementary School.

John, for many years, has been involved in local recreation sports programs as an organizer and coach in baseball and soccer. He and his family participate in numerous local and national fundraisers, food drives and other charity events. John has professionally and personally mentored many high school and college students in their educational and employment pursuits. On the personal side, he enjoys watching and participating in many sports such as golf, hockey, softball and tennis; and, is, also, a classic car enthusiast.
