Kickside Martial Arts Online Class Will Try To Break World Record

Kickside Martial Arts in Princeton and Hillsborough will attempt to host the 'World's Largest Martial Arts Online Class' on Saturday.

PRINCETON/HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Kickside Martial Arts in Princeton and Hillsborough will attempt to break a world record by hosting the "World's Largest Martial Arts Online Class" (WLC) on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Owners John Kanabay and Elise Reed saw an opportunity to fill the void left in the martial arts world from the new new coronavirus pandemic, which closed so many studios across the globe, and started the virutal classes.

The free event is also a new coronavirus charity fundraiser for Project C.U.R.E.

"As martial arts instructors, we're all missing the daily interaction with our students," said John Kanabay, the WLC’s creator. "We created this event as a way to engage with our students but also to raise much needed monies for healthcare professionals."

The event will consist of nine world-renowned martial artists teaching segments in their featured style ranging from sport karate to mixed martial arts. Instructors include:
