At Least 2 Dead In Princeton Crash After Vehicle Theft: Report
The crash took place after a group of men reportedly targeted Littlebrook vehicles and then stole a SUV before crashing on Route 27.
PRINCETON, NJ — At least two people are dead after a vehicle crashed on Route 27 on Sunday afternoon after a group of men attempted to steal several vehicles in Princeton’s Littlebrook neighborhood, according to a published report.
The crash took place at around 1:30 p.m. on Route 27 near Roper Road, PlanetPrinceton.com reported. The site reported that residents reported that someone in the 100 block of Clover Lane called police said that several men were attempting to steal vehicles from their property at around 12:40 p.m.
The men returned to the home around 1:30 again but that they managed to successfully steal an unlocked SUV from a Dodds Lane residence, PlanetPrinceton.com reported.

Princeton police told Patch that the incident is still being investigated and that more information would be released when it is available.
The group then returned to the home on Clover Lane and then sped off and crashed on Route 27, the site reported. Witnesses told the site that the men were driving erratically before the crash occurred.

Princeton Kingston Road has been closed between Carnegie Drive and Roper Road due to the crash investigation by police.
