Lexi Amur Is Princeton's Pet Of The Week

PRINCETON, NJ — Meet Lexi Amur! She has been chosen as Princeton Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"We have a cat named Lexi Amur who is currently living in the Petco in Lawrenceville. We've had her in our care since her owner surrendered her to the Trenton Shelter a year ago. She's lived in several of our store adoption centers and foster homes... but no luck finding her a home yet. We are not sure what is taking so long except that she doesn't care for other kitties, and man people have more than one. Or maybe it's that she is six years old .

She is a very sweet girl who loves to sit in people's laps. She likes when her people are not gone for very long hours (a normal work day is fine). She is a very neat and clean kitty. She just doesn't like other kitties but did well with a small dog. All the volunteers are so sad she is still waiting for a home."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Princeton Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
