Maplewood Senior Living Opens 1st NJ Facility In Princeton Area
The senior living community, which officially opened on Aug.11, is located on the campus of Penn Medicine Princeton Health.
PRINCETON, NJ — Maplewood Senior Living has opened its new location on the campus of Penn Medicine Princeton Health, the group announced Tuesday. This is Maplewood’s first location in New Jersey. The senior living facility officially opened on Aug. 11.
Maplewood at Princeton is a 98,000-square-foot senior living community with 105 studio deluxe and one-bedroom units. The community features indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, onsite healthcare, wellness activities, and more.
“We are dedicated to providing an exceptional senior living experience coupled with incomparable care,” Gregory D. Smith, President, and CEO of Maplewood Senior Living said in a statement.

“In offering a best-in-class senior residence to the community, we hope to meet the demands of older adults in the area who want to continue to lead dynamic lifestyles yet need additional support in their daily lives.”
The community offers easy access for residents and their families to a wide array of cultural and historic attractions including the McCarter Theatre Center, Institute for Advanced Studies, Palmer Square, and more.

Since the facility is located on the campus of Penn Medicine Princeton Health, the collaboration with the hospital will ensure medical care is available to residents. Isao Iwata, MD, a specialist in geriatric medicine with over 21 years of experience, will serve as the dedicated Primary Care provider for residents.
