Greater Mercer TMA (GMTMA) is looking for a creative and motivated self-starter to fill the position of Marketing and Outreach Coordinator.
GMTMA is a nonprofit organization located in Princeton, NJ that works to promote transportation choices that reduce congestion, improve mobility, increase safety and further sustainability in Mercer and Ocean County New Jersey.
The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will be expected to:

· Develop marketing campaigns that will encourage and educate the public about transportation options
· Maintain and promote GMTMA’s facebook, twitter and blog

· Prepare GMTMA’s monthly e-newsletter and press releases
· Create partnerships with the business community
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Writing or related fields. TDM professionals and creative minded transportation planners are also welcome to apply.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Creative
- Experienced with all social media
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with design programs is a plus.
- Two years of related work experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within service area
