Mercer Co. To Host COVID Vaccine Clinic For Kids July 28

A child must be at least 6 months through 5 in order to be vaccinated.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Mercer County Division of Public Health will host another COVID-19 vaccine clinic for children ages 6 months to 5 years on Thursday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at CURE Arena, 81 Hamilton Ave.

A child must be at least 6 months through 5 in order to be vaccinated. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccine has been approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Preventionfor this age group.

No appointments are needed. The vaccination is a two-or-three-dose series depending on the vaccine chosen.

Children ages 6 months to 5 years recently became eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, following approval from the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration.
