Mercer County Jazz Festival Returns July 7
The festival takes place at the Festival Grounds, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Mercer County Jazz Festival returns to the Festival Grounds on Saturday, July 7, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festival includes a mix of contemporary, soul and bebop jazz.
The day’s musical lineup kicks off with legendary saxophonist Bob Pollitt. Pollitt’s extensive library of music expands from bebop to blues, and funk.
AyA is up next with their mix of jazz, R&B and gospel, followed by Jeff Bradshaw, coming from the Philadelphia Soul Movement. Known as a soul-jazz and hip-hop innovator he has performed with some of the industry greats such as Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Pattie LaBelle and more.

The event’s headlining performance will feature the return of The Baylor Project to Mercer County. The two-time Grammy-nominated duo marks their influence from gospel, blues, soul and jazz. With an extensive background in music, both Jean and Marcus Baylor are experts in their craft and will produce a carefully constructed display of music on July 7 at the Festival Grounds.
Tickets are $20 for General Admission seating and are available through the CURE Insurance Arena (formerly Sun Bank Arena) Box Office located at 81 Hamilton Avenue in Trenton. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets will also be available online at www.cureinsurancearena.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200. There is a service charge for all online and phone purchases.

For discounted tickets through Groupon, visit www.mercercountyparks.org. Tickets may be purchased the day of the festival at 1 p.m. from the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds ticket offices. Will call is located at the Festival Grounds ticket office by the flag entrance.
The performance schedule is as follows:
- 2:20-3:25 p.m.: Bob Pollitt
- 3:40–4:45 p.m.: AyA
- 5–6:15 p.m.: Jeff Bradshaw
- 6:30–8 p.m.: The Baylor Project
Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the Jazz Festival. No outside food or alcohol will be permitted inside the Festival Grounds.
Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to set up inside the Festival Grounds. Concert parking is included in the ticket price. The Mercer County Jazz Festival will be held rain or shine. Visit www.mercercountyparks.org for any updates prior to the event.
