Montessori Country Day School in Plainsboro Celebrates Global Running Day

Students participated in the worldwide initiative to get moving by taking part in races, yoga and other activities at their school

On June 1, students at Montessori Country Day School in Plainsboro celebrated Global Running Day and joined the initiative's movement, Million Kid Run, by participating in several physical activities at their school. In addition to holding running races around their campus, students took part in yoga, bunny hops, parachutes, ring tosses and more. Students have been learning the importance of embracing running and other physical activities as ways to get moving and be healthy.

Global Running Day is a day for people around the world to celebrate the joys of running and pledge to take part in some type of running activity.
