Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In 3-Vehicle Accident In Princeton: Police
A motorcycle and 2 cars were involved in the accident at the Mercer Road bridge on Mercer Road.

Princeton, NJ -- A motorcyclist suffered serious internal injuries following an accident involving two other cars at the Mercer Road bridge on Mercer Road on Saturday, Princeton Police said.
Alonso Calix, 34, of Trenton, was riding a 2013 Kawasaki north at about 2:20 p.m. when he failed to navigate a curve in the road and hit a 2000 Volkswagen that was traveling south, police said on Tuesday.
The Volkswagen was being driven by Luis Estrada, 35, of Princeton.

Calix was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a 2006 Prius, which was also traveling south. That car was driven by Alexandra Schaich-Borg, 31, of Princeton.
Calix sustained serious internal injuries and was transported to Capital Health Regional in Trenton by the Princeton First Aid squad and paramedics from Capital Health.

Estrada and Schaich-Borg were both uninjured.
Mercer Road was closed for approximately three hours for the investigation, the Princeton Fire Police assisted with traffic control.
The investigation is ongoing, and no summonses had been issued as of Tuesday afternoon.
