‘A Night Under The Stars’ With The Historical Society of Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ - The Historical Society of Princeton will host its annual “Night Under the Stars” celebration on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Updike Farmstead

The event will feature local food, drink, and talent in a historic setting.

“We are extremely excited and proud to offer this unique event that brings together our community to celebrate both Princeton’s rich history and its bright future.” Paul Pessutti, the Historical Society’s President of the Board of Trustees said in a statement.

“Night Under the Stars will offer guests a relaxed and elevated experience. There is no better place to celebrate with friends and family than the bucolic surroundings of Updike Farmstead, while showing your support for HSP.”

The evening will begin with craft cocktails mixed with Sourland Mountain Spirits. Bluegrass band, The Heffernan Brothers, will perform from the farmhouse porch as guests explore the grounds and enjoy casual lawn games.

Guests will then dine on a family-style, multi-course, seasonal meal prepared by Harvest Catering and Events. Local craft beers and a selection of wines will be available through the evening.

After dessert, local pop duo Alina + Dan will entertain guests.

Celebrations will take place outdoors on the grounds of Updike Farmstead, surrounded by almost 200 acres of farmland.

All proceeds from the event will support the Society’s history education, provided through historical collections, exhibitions, public programs, and co-curricular support for schools in the Princeton community and beyond.
