No School For Princeton Students On Friday As Snowstorm Approaches
Friday will be a non-instructional day for all students, including the high school, the district announced.

PRINCETON, NJ — All Princeton Public Schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 7 in anticipation of a possible snowstorm and bad road conditions, the district announced Thursday afternoon. This will be a non-instructional day for all students, including the high school.
Additionally, Monday will be an early dismissal day at all six schools, officials said.
"Our staff will participate in professional development Monday afternoon. At this time, we anticipate that all schools will be in-person on Monday, including Princeton High School. The YMCA after-school programs at our elementary schools will be operating on Monday. The Pannell Center, however, will be closed Monday," Superintendent Carol Kelley told parents in a letter.

Kelley also thanked parents and staff for continuing to follow all district health protocols. "We are not aware of any in-school transmission in our district which is a testimony to the efforts being made by students and staff," Kelley said.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for all of New Jersey ahead of a snowstorm expected to bring up to 6 inches of snow early Friday, forecasters said.
