
Anne C. O'Brien, 94, of Princeton, died at her home in Princeton on Sunday, Oct. 2.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1916 to Catherine and Charles Callan, she was raised in Chicago and Bronxville, New York. She attended Maplehurst Convent of the Sacred Heart and graduated from Trinity College in Washington, D.C. in 1938.
That year she married C. Russell O'Brien, who died in 2000. She is survived by her children, Carol Desmond, of Princeton, James F. O'Brien, of Putney, Vermont, Charlotte Kenney, of Bronxville, New York, Charles C. O'Brien, of Park Ridge, and Mary R. O'Brien, of Lexington, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Anne Desmond, Owen Desmond, Alexander Kenney, Jennifer Lacovara, and T. Christopher O'Brien; great-grandchildren, Jack, Maja, and Tyler Desmond and Owen and Deirdre Ristic.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Pauls Church, with interment to follow. Donations may be made to the Anne Callan O'Brien Scholarship at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, 1200 Stuart Road, Princeton, NJ 08540.
