Obituary: Carl A. Robbins, Jr., 60

Carl A. Robbins, Jr., 68, of Rocky Hill, died Aug. 24. Born in Princeton in 1943, he had spent most of his life in Rocky Hill.

A graduate of Ashland College in Ohio, he received his Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Rider University.

Robbins worked for the State of New Jersey. The last position he held was the sssistant to the president at New Jersey City University before he retired several years ago. Since retiring, he enjoyed traveling. He had visited Europe several times as well as many places within the United States.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Carl A. Robbins, Sr. and Ruth of Rocky Hill; his mother, Hazel Koeferl, and sister. Jill Robbins, both of Jacksonville, Florida; his nephew, Chris Robbins and his wife Kim of Lawrenceville; and two great-nephews Sean and Dylan Robbins.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Kimble Funeral Home, followed by burial in the family plot at Rocky Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill.
