
Daniel Leard, Jr., 92, a lifelong Princeton resident, died Sept. 15 at the Princeton Care Center in Princeton.
He retired in 1989 from the RCA David Sarnoff Research Center in Princeton Junction as a technician, after 30 years of employment. Prior to that he worked 10 years as a Proctor for Princeton University.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed bus trips to various destinations, visits to Atlantic City, gardening and carpentry.

He was predeceased by his wife, Irene M. Davison Leard, in 1983 and a daughter-in-law, Savilla A. Leard, in 2004. Surviving are two sons, Daniel S. Leard of Readington Township, and Jack Leard and his wife Sharon, of Ocala, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane M. and Bill Taylor of Bordentown; two grandchildren; Mary and Adrian Leard, four great-grandchildren; Daniel, William, Stephanie and Brian and his loving companion, Betty Davison, of Princeton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. in the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Ave., Princeton, followed by burial, next to his wife, in Princeton Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Monday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
