Planning Board, Construction Update: Princeton This Week

Historic Preservation Commission
Princeton's Historic Preservation Commission will be meeting on Monday at 4 p.m. There are four application hearings scheduled. Here's the agenda.

Planning Board
The Municipality's Planning Board will be meeting on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. They will hear the application on Lanwin Development Corp.’s proposed 29-lot subdivision. Here's the agenda.

Construction Update
- The Witherspoon Street Improvement Project continues this week as well. This week, expect sidewalk and curb construction. Traffic will alternate in one lane through the construction area between Franklin Avenue and Green Street.
- The Spring Street Garage concrete repairs are continuing. Up to 100 spaces will be unavailable for parking on the upper levels of the garage.
- Waters & Bugbee, will work on gas main replacements on Boudinot Street, Wescott Road, Library Place, Cleveland Lane, and Morven Place. Some work remains to complete the main on Turner Court early in the week, and new service connections will be installed on Walnut Lane, Dempsey Avenue, and Cuyler Road. A third crew will be installing a new gas main on Laurel Road and Mt. Lucas Road, as well. Drivers need to be aware that these roads will be closed at times, and detours will be in place.
- The Alice development work is on and construction vehicles are to be expected on Terhune Road and North Harrison Street. Motorists should stay alert in the area for trucks and other equipment accessing the site.
- The Graduate Hotel construction continues to move along. Chambers Street has no scheduled closures, but may be shut down for short periods to load and unload construction materials and equipment.
- Stuart Road is scheduled for resurfacing on Monday and Tuesday.
- The NJDOT replacement of the Washington Road bridge over the D&R Canal will continue to keep the road closed for the rest of the month.
