Police Investigate Threat In West Windsor-Plainsboro Schools

Police will be in West Windsor schools on Thursday for precautionary measures after a threat was found Wednesday night.

Officers from the West Windsor Police Department will be present at West Windsor schools on Thursday after a non-specific threat was discovered on a bathroom wall at the Community Middle School Wednesday night, police said. The Community Middle School is located in Plainsboro, and is part of the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.

Plainsboro police investigated the threat Wednesday night, and determined there was no credible threat. Police also investigated the Millstone River School and West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North due to their proximity to the middle school, and found no further evidence of a threat.

Police will be at all three of those schools on Thursday. Their presence is for precautionary reasons, and police will inform the public if an additional threat is found. West Windsor police are working in cooperation with the Plainsboro Police Department and the school district.
