Woman Escaped Assault By Jumping Out Window: Princeton Police

The assault took place Friday night.

Princeton, NJ -- A woman who was hit in the back of the head and dragged to a spot on Green Street escaped by jumping out of a window, Princeton Police said Saturday morning.

The woman was walking north on Witherspoon Street near Green Street at 9:45 p.m. when she was attacked. The man hit her from behind and dragged her to 20 Green Street. The assault continued until the woman was able to escape by jumping out a window.

Princeton Police, First Aid and Rescue responded to the scene. The woman was taken to Capital Health with multiple injuries.

The suspect was described as an Hispanic man in his 40’s, thin build, wearing blue jeans, blue shirt, and a blue jacket.
