Threat Made To Mercer Co. High School Non-Credible, Student Charged
The non-credible threat was initiated by a juvenile from West Windsor High School South, authorities said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Authorities on Monday afternoon said the social media threat made to a high school in West Windsor was “non-credible.”
On Sunday, the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District was made aware of a threat to High School North on social media, Superintendent David Aderhold said.
The non-credible threat was initiated by a juvenile from West Windsor High School South, authorities said. The juvenile was charged with false public alarms pending a future Mercer County Juvenile Court appearance.

Although a False Public Alarm charge was filed, the investigation remains ongoing, police said. Due to the threat, there was an increased police presence across all schools in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.
The initial investigation was conducted by the school district superintendent’s office, Plainsboro Township police and West Windsor police.

Police Chief Robert Garofalo thanked the Plainsboro police department and the school authorities for working together.
