Possession Of False Government Document, Burglary: Princeton Police Blotter

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:

PRINCETON, NJ — On Aug.7, following a motor vehicle stop on Valley Road for speeding, the driver was found to be in possession of a fictitious Pennsylvania driver's license. The 19-year-old Princeton resident was placed under arrest, where she was processed and released pending a future court date.

On Aug.7, following a single-car crash on the 200 block of Nassau Street, the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The Somerset, NJ resident was arrested at the scene and taken to police headquarters. The 26-year-old was issued multiple summonses as a result of the DWI and was later released to a sober adult with a pending future court date.

On Aug. 8, Princeton Police responded to Police Headquarters to investigate a reported theft from a customer shopping at a store located on Palmer Square. On arrival, officers learned that the victim had placed an Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, valued at approximately $1,400, on a bench inside the store while assisting a friend. When the person returned to the bench, they discovered that the phone was missing. Store surveillance video confirmed that two unidentified people took the phone from the bench. The theft remains under investigation.

On Aug. 10, Princeton Police responded to Police Headquarters to investigate a reported burglary and theft from a vehicle. This investigation revealed that an unknown person entered the victim's unlocked vehicle located in their driveway on the 100 block of Hickory Court and stole approximately $14 from the center console. The incident remains under investigation.

On Aug.12, Princeton Police took a report of two stolen E-bikes from Karin Court. The victim reported that on Aug.12 at 2:22 a.m., two unidentified masked individuals stole 2 e-bikes which were secured in front of their home. The value of the two e-bikes was estimated to be $1,455. This theft remains under investigation.
