Princeton Among Best Places To Live in NJ: Niche Ranking

PRINCETON, NJ — There's no better place to live in New Jersey, than Princeton.

The township came in second place in Niche.com's 'Best Places to Live in New Jersey.' The website released the 2021 ranking of on Monday.

Here are this year's Top 10 communities in New Jersey:

4. Mountain Lakes
5. Upper Montclair
6. Princeton Meadows
7. Ho-Ho-Kus
8. New Providence
9. Glen Rock

According to Niche, living in Princeton "offers residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Princeton there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks." The community received an overall grade of A+.

Rankings are based on cost of living, higher education, housing, public schools, diversity, nightlife etc. Each community is then assigned a grade, on an A+-to-D- scale.
