Princeton Council Candidates To Face Off At Hybrid Forum Oct. 6

PRINCETON, NJ — The League of Women Voters of the Greater Princeton Area and the Center for Modern Aging Princeton (CMAP) will host a Princeton Council candidate forum Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The League will moderate a conversation among the three candidates running for two open seats on Princeton Council: David Cohen (Democrat), Antonio Merolli (Republican) and Marina Rubina (Democrat).

The hybrid event will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at CMAP's Nancy S. Klath Center, 101 Poor Farm Road, Building B, and online via Zoom.

Online pre-registration at bit.ly/4yktJHm is requested to attend in person or virtually, or to receive a link to the recording. Switching from Zoom to in-person attendance is not guaranteed and will depend on space. Virtual participants will receive a Zoom link 24 hours and again 15 minutes before the event. Princeton residents can submit suggested questions for the candidates by emailing LWVPRINCETON@GMAIL.COM with "Question for Princeton Council Forum" in the subject line.

Voters can also use the League's online voter guide, VOTE411.org, to see their ballot and candidate profiles for the November general election. Candidates' responses to questions on the races are included.

Unregistered voters, and those who need to update their registration because of an address or party change, can do so through VOTE411.org or the state's voter registration page by Oct. 13.
