Princeton Deer Hunt To Begin Feb. 1
A deer hunt will be held on private and public properties in Princeton beginning on or around Feb. 1 and continue through March 15.

PRINCETON, NJ — A deer hunt will be held on private and public properties in Princeton beginning on or around Feb. 1 and continue through March 15.
Princeton's agent White Buffalo Inc. filed for deer hunting permit with the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife.
The following public properties in Princeton where hunting will take place include:

- Gulick Farm
- Mercer County Herrontown Woods Arboretum
- Pretty Brook/Great Road
- Rosedale – Green Acres
- Historic Overlook and Stony Brook/Quaker Road (Block 9801, Lots 4, 9, and 10 – about 38 acres located between Mercer Street and Route 206)
- Woodfield Reservation (Block 1701, Lots 4 and 8, and Block 1801, Lots 1, 4 and 5 only)
- Mountain Lakes Reserve (Portions of Block 5201, Lots 2 and 29.14 only)
- Van Dyke Woods/Smoyer Park
Hunting will take place between 4 and 9 p.m.
The Princeton Police Department will provide security by directly supervising the removal activities and patrolling the parks while removal operations take place.
