Princeton Employer Named Best In NJ By Forbes For 2019
Forbes has released its annual list of the best employers in America and a Princeton company took the top spot in New Jersey.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton's NRG Energy was named as the best employer in New Jersey by Forbes in its recently released annual list of the best large employers in America.
Along with taking the top spot for New Jersey, NRG Energy landed at 44th overall in the country. The electronic utilities company was founded in 1989 and engages in the production, sale, and distribution of energy and energy services. Its wholesale operations include plant operations, commercial operations, EPC, energy services and other critical related functions.
The popular grocery store Trader Joe's was ranked the top employer in the United States for 2019. The rankings released on Wednesday name the 500 best.

For the America's Best Employers 2019 list, Forbes partnered with the research firm Statista, surveying 30,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees.
