Princeton Festival Fundraiser Features 'A Little Night Music'

The fundraiser was Saturday night at Greenacres Country Club.

Princeton, NJ -- The theme for this year’s main fundraiser for the Princeton Festival, “A Little Night Music,” was taken from the Festival’s 2016 musical offering, Stephen Sondheim’s "A Little Night Music," which includes one of his most well known songs ‘Send in the Clowns’. The fundraiser was Saturday night, April 30, at Greenacres Country Club.

The Courtney Colletti Band provided music during dinner and for dancing; attendees also applauded baritone Joseph Barron, who sang two arias. One of those arias was by Benjamin Britten, who was the composer of this season’s operatic offering, Peter Grimes.

Harry Fini provided piano music during the cocktail hour and silent auction. He then switched hats and became Master of Ceremonies/Auctioneer during the live auction, in which several extraordinary vacation packages and once-in-a-lifetime experiences were sold in some exciting and hotly contested bidding wars.
