Princeton Festival Guild To Host Artists Roundtable On June 6
The roundtable will be held at the Princeton Public Library's Community Room and is free to the public.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Symphony Orchestra’s (PSO) Princeton Festival Guild will be hosting its annual Artists’ Roundtable on June 6, at 7 p.m.
The roundtable will be held at the Princeton Public Library’s Community Room.
Panelists will be discussing Gioachino Rossini's opera buffa “The Barber of Seville.” It will be moderated by Guild member and Princeton Symphony Orchestra Trustee Marcia Bossart. The upcoming production of Rossini's opera, preparing for a role, and the challenges of being in the opera business will be also be discussed.

“The Barber of Seville” is a comic masterpiece and a popular work in the opera repertoire. Its plot follows the escapades of a barber, Figaro, as he assists Count Almaviva in rescuing the beautiful Rosina away from her lecherous guardian, Bartolo.
The panel will include Maestro Rossen Milanov, PSO Executive Director Marc Uys, Stage Director James Marvel, and “The Barber of Seville” cast members.

The Princeton Festival Guild is dedicated to introducing young and old to great performances. The Guild supports the Festival’s many educational and community engagement programs.
