Princeton Firefighter Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The firefighter had no contact with the public during the period of communicability, the Princeton Health Department said.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Princeton firefighter has tested positive for new coronavirus, the Princeton Health Department reported Thursday.

The firefighter began displaying symptoms on Easter Sunday and immediately took steps to self-isolate, the health department said.

The firefighter had no contact with the public during the period of communicability, the health department said.

Only a small group of firefighters were exposed due to the Princeton Fire Department implementing new precautions over the last several weeks. The group of firefighters are self-monitoring for symptoms.
