Princeton Girlchoir, Boychoir Announce New Season Of Live Performances

PRINCETON, NJ – After two years of not performing live due to the pandemic, Princeton Girlchoir and Princeton Boychoir of Westrick Music Academy announced live concerts and tours for the 2022-2023 season.

Singers in grades 3 through 12 throughout Central New Jersey and Bucks County have been working hard and rehearsing each week to bring live concerts to local, national, and international communities.

Upcoming concerts will include a mix of professional engagements, youth choir collaborations, and community outreach events.

Here are the highlights of the 2022-23 season:

OCTOBER 2022

• October 29: Choral Spooktacular with Princeton Girlchoir at Nassau Presbyterian Church, Princeton NJ.

NOVEMBER 2022

• November 19: Children Making a Difference Benefit Concert with Princeton Girlchoir at Nassau Presbyterian Church, Princeton NJ.

DECEMBER 2022

• December 4: Princeton Boychoir will accompany Boheme Opera Company’s production of Hansel and Gretel
• December 11: Holiday Harmonies with Princeton Boychoir at All Saints Church in Princeton, NJ
• December 16 – 18: Princeton Girlchoir will accompany the American Repertory Ballet production of The Nutcracker at the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ.
• December 18: Princeton Girlchoir Ensemble joins Glassbrook Vocal Ensemble in a holiday concert.
• Additional “Holiday Sings” will be held throughout the community in December, including the Arts Council of Princeton’s Artist Chalet Winter Village in Hinds Plaza (outside the Princeton Public Library).

JANUARY 2023

• January 29, 2023: PGC United in Song concert brings together all 6 choirs of Princeton Girlchoir in concert at Patriots Theater at the War Memorial [MOU2] in Trenton, NJ.

FEBRUARY 2023

• February 1: Presented by Princeton University Concerts, PGC will accompany Mezzo-Soprano Joyce DiDonato in EDEN at Richardson Hall.

APRIL 2023

• April 22: Westrick Music Academy Choral Festival. Young singers throughout the Central New Jersey and Bucks County area are invited to join Princeton Girlchoir & Princeton Boychoir in a day of song
• April 23: Princeton Girlchoir and Princeton Boychoir perform as part of the Newtown Presbyterian Church Concert Series in Newtown, PA

MAY 2023

Spring Concert Series

• May 5: A Musical Mosaic with Princeton Girlchoir’s beginning and intermediate singers at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton
• May 7: Princeton Girlchoir’s advanced choirs perform at Mayo Hall on the campus of The College of New Jersey
• May 13: Princeton Boychoir performs at Mayo Hall on the campus of TCNJ

JUNE 2023

• June 9-11: Princeton Girlchoir Semi-Tones tours New York and performs at Carnegie Hall

JULY 2023

• Princeton Girlchoir advanced choirs tour and perform in Spain and Portugal
• Princeton Boychoir tours New England, including their debut at Carnegie Hall
