Princeton Girls Basketball Team Drops First Game in Stuart Day Tournament

Princeton fell to Germantown Friends on Saturday, according to nj.com.

The Princeton High School girls basketball team stayed with Germantown Friends for the duration, but eventually fell in a first round game in the Stuart Day tournament on Saturday, according to nj.com.

Germantown Friends defeated Princeton, 44-36, to advance to Sunday afternoon’s final.

Catherine Curran-Groome led the way for Princeton with 12 points, followed by Julia Ryan, who had 10 points.

Princeton fell to 1-2.

Princeton was scheduled to face Doane Academy, who fell 44-31 to host Stuart Day, in the consolation game Sunday afternoon.
