Princeton Health Department Needs Nurse Volunteers
Recruitment is on for the community surge nursing team.
PRINCETON, NJ — With the ongoing public health crisis, the Princeton Health Department is recruiting volunteer nurses for its community surge nursing team, the town announced Monday.
Volunteer nurses are expected to provide care during a declared public health emergency, vaccinate community residents and communicate with the health officer. Emergency responders participate in all required training, attend quarterly meetings and provide nursing services for at-risk population.

- Have 1-2 years nursing experience (community health or emergency nursing preferred).
- RN License in NJ, active and unrestricted
- CPR Certified/BLS Provider
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must live/work in or near Princeton
