Princeton High School Among State's Best, New Rankings Find

PRINCETON, NJ — Data compiler Niche believes the Princeton Public School District is among the best in the state, and its recent high school rankings support that claim.

Princeton High School is ranked No. 11 in a new set of rankings recently released by Niche. Both high schools in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, which is also a top 3 district according to Niche, were also ranked in the top 20. Bergen County Academies is No. 1 on the list.

The list of the best public high school was released as part of Niche's 2019 K-12 rankings. To arrive at the rankings, Niche said it looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Princeton received an overall grade of A+. It received A+ for Academics, Teachers, Clubs and Activities and College Prep. It received an A for Health and Safety and an A- for Diversity.
