The Princeton High School football team dropped one spot in the Central Jersey Group IV power points standings following its bye week.
Princeton (6-1, 87 points) dropped from fourth to fifth place in the most recent standings, posted Monday on nj.com.
Princeton is now nine points behind Middletown South (5-2, 96 points) and 18 points ahead of Burlington Township (5-1, 68 points).

The top eight teams in each group after the first eight games of the season qualify for the playoffs. Only a team’s seven best wins of their first eight games count toward qualifying for the playoffs.
