Princeton High School Football Team Drops Season Opener

The Little Tigers fell to Hamilton West, 10-7.

Rory Helstrom picked up 55 yards on the ground and scored on a 6-yard touchdown run, but it wasn’t enough for the Princeton High School football team, which fell to Hamilton West, 10-7, in the season opener for both teams Saturday afternoon, according to nj.com.

Helstrom’s touchdown came in the second quarter and was the first score of the game.

Later in the quarter, Jake Elmer kicked a 32-yard field goal for Hamilton West.

Princeton maintained the lead into the fourth quarter, when Dayzjohn Dunston scored on the ground from seven yards out for the winning touchdown for Hamilton West.
