Princeton High School Football Team Falls in Hole, Suffers First Loss

Winslow defeated Princeton, 48-24, according to nj.com.

The Winslow High School football team jumped out to an early lead and never let happen as it handed Princeton its first loss of the season, 48-29, according to nj.com.

Winslow took a 28-7 lead in the third quarter. Princeton attempted a comeback, but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Dave Beamer threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score for Princeton.

Beamer put Princeton on the board in the second quarter with a 24-yard pass to Rory Helstrom. The two hooked up again in the third quarter, on a 40-yard score.

Beamer’s third touchdown pass came in the third, when he hit Ben Danis on a 9-yard pass.

He had an 11-yard run for a score in the fourth.

Princeton fell to 5-1.
