Princeton High School Football Team Holds Onto Fifth Placing Following Win

Princeton is 7-1 with 98 points, according to nj.com.

The Princeton High School football team maintained fifth place in Central Jersey Group IV following its win over Robbinsville.

Princeton (7-1, 98 points) is eight points behind Middletown South (5-2, 106 points) and six points ahead of Neptune (5-2, 92 points), according to the standings posted on nj.com on Monday.

Brick Township and Jackson Memorial are both 7-1 with 136 points and tied for first place. Freehold Borough (7-1, 116 points) is in third.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North (5-3, 83 points) and Burlington Township (5-2, 81 points) round out the top eight.

The top eight teams in each group after the first eight games of the season qualify for the playoffs. Only a team’s seven best wins of their first eight games count toward qualifying for the playoffs.
