The Princeton High School football team moved to an unlikely 4-0 with a 40-20 win over Lawrence Township Thursday night according to nj.com.
Colin Buckley scored twice on the ground to help Princeton erase the memory of last year’s lopsided loss. He scored on runs of 4 and 9 yards.
Dave Beamer threw a pair of touchdown passes, of 32 yards to Joe Hawes and 20 yards to Brian Tien.

David Kowal and Rory Helstrom also scored, on long rushing touchdowns. Kowal covered 70 yards on his score, while Helstrom took the ball into the end zone from 64 yards out.
Sam Smallzman’s 35-yard fumble return for a score put Princeton’s defense on the board.

Princeton scored first and took a 19-14 lead into halftime, but fell behind on a third quarter touchdown by Lawrence.
Princeton rallied and pulled away with three touchdowns in the final quarter.
