Princeton High School Football Team's Memorable Run Ends With Playoff Loss

The football team was 8-2 with a division title this year after an 0-10 campaign in 2013.

The Princeton High School football team’s magical season has come to an end.

One year after going 0-10, Princeton turned things around with a run to the playoffs, but that run came to an end with a 48-12 loss to Brick Township in the first round Friday night, according to nj.com.

Princeton entered the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group IV playoffs as the No. 7 seed. Brick Township was the No. 2 seed.

Carmen Scalfani scored four total touchdowns to lead Brick, which will host No. 3 Jackson Memorial in the semifinals on Nov. 21.

Princeton finished the season with a record of 8-2. Princeton won the West Jersey Football League-Valley Division title this season.
