Princeton High School Girls Soccer Team To Open Mercer County Tournament At Home
Princeton is the No. 6 seed, and will host Hightstown in the first round.

Princeton, NJ -- The Princeton High School girls soccer team will open the Mercer County tournament at home against Hightstown, the Trentonian reports.
Princeton (8-4) is the No. 6 seed, and will host No. 11 Hightstown (6-7) in the first round of the 17-team tournament on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Princeton defeated Hightstown, 1-0, on Oct. 1, according to nj.com. Devon Lis recorded the game-winner in that encounter. Hightstown goalie Emma Huntzinger made 11 saves in that game.

Undefeated Princeton Day School (12-0) earned the No. 3 seed, and will host No. 14 Hun (3-6-2) on Oct. 20.
Princeton Day defeated Hun, 2-0, on Sept. 13, according to nj.com. That game between the heated rivals ended on a controversial goal.

Hopewell Valley (13-0-1) earned the No. 1 seed, and will play the winner of the play-in game between No. 16 Lawrenceville (1-7) and No. 17 West Windsor-Plainsboro South (1-13).
