Princeton High School Students Earn $1,000 College Scholarships
The Princeton Area Community Foundation awarded $33,050 to 11 high school students who will begin college this fall.

PRINCETON, NJ — Two Princeton High School students have received scholarships to continue their education at the college level, the Princeton Area Community Foundation announced on Wednesday.
Matthew Luke Hawes and James Verbeyst each received $1,000 Princeton Post No. 76, American Legion Dr. Henry J. Frank Scholarships, good for four years. Hawes will attend Harvard, and Verbeyst will attend Kean.
The Community Foundation awarded $33,050 to 11 high school students who will begin college this fall, and renewed another $53,260 in scholarships to 17 college students who will return to classes in September.

“We’d like to congratulate these talented students, and we wish them success as they continue their studies,” Princeton Area Community Foundation President and CEO Jeffrey M. Vega said. “We are able to help these students thanks to our generous donors who have created scholarship funds here.”
