Princeton High School Virtual Graduation Set For June 16

PRINCETON, NJ — For the first time in Princeton High School's history a virtual ceremony will be held for the 92nd graduating class at 5:30 p.m. on June 16.

There will be 353 students graduating as part of the hour-long ceremony that includes uploaded videos and photographs of students in their caps and gowns, as well musical presentations and speeches.

After a welcome address by a Princeton High School student, there will be several speakers, including Principal Jessica Baxter and Superintendent Steve Cochrane.

At the end of the ceremony, after the presentation of the diplomas, there will be a "turning of the tassels" video montage.

Parents will receive an email with a link to the graduation from the school with the viewing options.

"Jessica Baxter has shown creativity, care and an unshakeable focus on students in her first year as principal of Princeton High School, and this Virtual Graduation is no exception," said Cochrane. "There has been a lot of hardship and uncertainty this year but there have also been many moments when our students, our principals, and our teachers have done things that have truly inspired me as an educational leader. I hope the seniors and their families can come together on Tuesday night and celebrate. This is a milestone in their lives they will never forget."
