Princeton to Make Decision on Paid Sick Time After August

There is no concrete timeline concerning possible legislation.

Princeton Council will wait until after summer is over before deciding whether to require private sector employees to give paid sick time to their employees who work in Princeton, the Princeton Packet reports.

The delay is an effort to give all residents the opportunity to speak on the issue, according to the report. The measure has not yet been introduced in Princeton, and residents generally go away in August. No concrete timeline has been established.

Nine towns in New Jersey have already adopted the legislation, according to the report.
